These are the sightings and small details that turn a camping weekend into a proper bush escape.
Big-cat country without leaving the farm
Ol Maisor gives guests the feeling of being properly out in Laikipia: wild country, quiet tracks and the chance of memorable sightings close to camp.
Wildlife encounters feel personal
Elephants, giraffes, zebra, antelope and buffalo move through the wider farm landscape, making slow self-drive exploring part of the stay.
Open skies and easy game viewing
The landscape is open enough for relaxed spotting, sundowners and family-friendly drives, with plenty of space to stop and take it in.
Small details reward slow mornings
Birdlife and smaller wildlife add interest between the bigger sightings, especially around the trees, dam edges and quieter parts of camp.

Getting here
Reach camp from Nairobi via Rumuruti
Ol Maisor Camp is in Laikipia, about 2.5 hours from Nanyuki or around 40 minutes from Rumuruti, with the last part on dirt roads. From Nairobi, the Rumuruti route is recommended because most of the journey is on tarmac.
